About Jeffrey Laino

Jeffrey Laino, a New Jersey resident since birth, was born on July 12, 1981, in Hackensack. He comes from a rich multicultural background, with an Italian father and a mother of mixed Irish, German, and Swiss heritage.

Jeffrey has a varied educational and career history, having worked as a party planner and a machine programmer. This diverse background gives him a unique range of experiences and exceptional versatility to fit into a wide variety of professional roles.

In addition, Jeffrey is a multitalented athlete and avid fitness buff. He’s skilled in many different sports and has competed in regional and national meets, winning several tournaments and titles.

Jeffrey Laino’s Educational Background

Jeffrey Laino attended Washington School throughout his elementary years. He later went to Westwood Junior High School before transferring to Bergen Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1999.

From 1999 to 2000, Jeffrey attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He then enrolled in Ramapo College of New Jersey, a public liberal arts college in Mahwah.

Jeffrey attended Ramapo from 2000 to 2004, majoring in information systems technology. During this time, he was an active member of the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society.

Founded in 1913, the society is a national organization that distinguishes academic performance, particularly in business administration. The organization also fosters qualities such as scholarship, leadership, and service among its members.

A Diverse Professional History

Jeffrey Laino’s earliest employment dates back to 1996, when he began working as a skate guard and party planner at The Rink in Montvale, NJ. He was ideally suited for the role, having had an avid interest in hockey since childhood. Jeffrey counts the two years he worked at The Rink as some of the most enjoyable and rewarding in his professional career.

In 1999, Jeffrey began working at Architectural Window Manufacturing Corporation (AWMC). Formerly SWS Industries, the company was founded by his grandfather in the 1950s and has always been a family-owned and operated business.

Drawing on his Information Systems education at Ramapo College, Jeffrey Laino started his work at AWMC, helping to develop a part numbering scheme and implementing an inventory management system. Over the years, this evolved into a role helping integrate a bar code system for use in the stock room and in material acquisition. As his desire to take on a larger role at AWMC grew, he thought it was time to learn the mechanical side of the business and requested to be transitioned into a role that would allow him to become a greater asset to the business for the long term.

At present, Jeffrey works as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programmer and operator on the Emmegi machines on the factory side of AWMC and continues to gain valuable knowledge and experience in this area. His hope is to learn as many aspects of the business as possible in pursuit of the goal of becoming a key player in the business his grandfather began so many years ago.

Jeffrey’s Athletic Achievements

In addition to his extensive educational and work histories, Jeffrey Laino is also an accomplished athlete. He has participated in a variety of organized sports since childhood, including Little League baseball and soccer. He also joined intramural bowling events during high school.

Of all the sports that Jeffrey has participated in, roller hockey is probably closest to his heart. It is certainly the one in which he has racked up the most achievements, having traveled with roller hockey teams throughout most of his teens and twenties.

As part of the celebrated roller hockey team, the Montvale Rage, Jeffrey competed in many high-profile games in the Garden State. He has also joined the team in various USA Roller Sports (USARS) tournaments, participating in East Coast regional meets and even competing in national events.

Thanks in part to Jeffrey’s contributions, the Rage was named the US Junior Olympics National Champions in 1996. He played separately at the Inline Skating Club of America (ISCA) in Wallington, NJ, winning multiple league championships while helping different teams to achieve their goals.

Unsurprisingly, Jeffrey Laino is an avid follower of the National Hockey League (NHL). Of all the teams in the league, the New York Rangers is undoubtedly his favorite, and he considers himself a proud lifelong fan.

Varied Hobbies and Personal Interests

Jeffrey Laino is a man of many interests outside of his involvement in sports. He is a voracious reader of fiction and poetry and is an aspiring writer himself. Even as his interest in sports continues, he hopes to be able to publish his own written works someday.

Jeffrey also has a modest but steadily growing collection of rare books. Although he started this pursuit only fairly recently, he is eager to expand his collection and is always on the lookout for interesting titles to acquire.

Like many people of his age, Jeffrey Laino is an avid computer gamer. Given his extensive computer background, this interest is an ideal way for him to relax and unwind after a grueling day at work.

Jeffrey is also a skilled billiards player who takes every opportunity to enjoy a game or two. Although he has yet to compete in a professional capacity, he would undoubtedly be just as capable and accomplished in the game as he is in his other athletic pursuits.

Jeffrey Laino recently began spending more time on yet another passion: weightlifting. Although he has always been a sports and fitness buff, he has started focusing more intently on weight training, seeing it as a part of his overall personal development goals. For Jeffrey, weight training is only one of many pursuits in which he could direct his passion, drive, and ambition.
